This was the 12th show Metallica has played in St. Louis, MO. The first time they played in St. Louis was on February 15, 1985 at Reflections on the Ride the Lightning tour.
The last time Metallica performed in St. Louis was on September 25, 2004 at the Savvis Center on the Madly in Anger With the World tour.
Metallica has played St. Louis on the following tours: Ride the Lightning, Damage, Inc., Damaged Justice, Wherever We May Roam, Summer Shit, Poor Re-Touring Me, Summer Sanitarium 2000, Summer Sanitarium 2003, and Madly in Anger With the World.
This was the first time that Whiplash was performed on the World Magnetic Tour. The last time Whiplash was performed in St. Louis was on February 4, 1997 at Kiel Auditorium.
This was the third time that Fight Fire With Fire was performed in St. Louis. The first time was on February 15, 1985 at Reflections and the last time was on July 28, 1998 at Riverport Performing Arts Center.
