* Kirk Hammett's 42nd birthday is on November 18, but the rest of the band and crew decided to celebrate it at the end of tonight's show. After Seek and Destroy, everyone (inluding Kirk's wife) pied him on stage, and then the crowd sang Happy Birthday to him.
* This was the 14th time Metallica has performed in Dallas, TX. The most recent show was on August 3, 2003 during the Summer Sanitarium tour. The show in 2003 was on James Hetfield's birthday!
