*This was the seventh time Metallica has performed in Austria since first performing in the country in 1991 on the Monsters of Rock tour with AC/DC.
*This was the first time Metallica has played Damage Case in over ELEVEN years and only the second time they’ve performed it live. To make it even more special, Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister came out to sing and play bass.
*For the second time this tour, Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell sang with James on Nothing Else Matters.
*This was the first time Metallica has ever performed Damage, Inc. in Austria.
*This was the first time that The Unforgiven and Disposable Heroes had been performed in Austria since a gig in Vienna back on June 26, 1993.
