  • This was the fourth time that Metallica performed in Cologne.  The first time they played here was on December 5, 1984.

  • They were last here over five years ago on December 16, 2003.

  • This was the second time in five years that Dyers Eve was played.

  • This was the first time in six months that Fade to Black was played.  It was last performed on November 20, 2008 in Houston, TX.

  • This was the first time in a year that King Nothing was played.  It was last performed on June 5, 2008 in Lisbon, Portugal.  That was the only 2008 performance of the song.  Prior to Lisbon, it was last performed on March 21, 2006 in Durban, South Africa.
