  • This was the second time that Metallica played the Novarock Festival in Nicklesdorf. They last played the festival was on June 15, 2006.  It was at that gig that Lemmy from Motorhead joined the band on Damage Case.

  • The first time Metallica played Austria was on September 11, 1991 on the Monsters of Rock tour with AC/DC.

  • This was the first time that Blackened opened a gig on the World Magnetic tour.

  • This was the first time that Hit the Lights was performed in Austria.

  • This was the first time since January 26, 2009 that Last Caress was played.
