Show Notes

  • This was the first time that Metallica performed in Hoeckenheim, Germany.

  • This was the first time that Fight Fire With Fire was used as the opening song since January 19, 2004 in Brisbane, Australia.

  • This was the second time that Trapped Under Ice was performed in Germany.  It was last played on May 7, 2009 in Leipzig.  This was the 11th performance of the song since 1984.

  • This was the first time that My Apocalypse was performed in the #13 slot on the setlist which is normally occupied by it’s older but equally fast brothers like Blackened, Fight Fire With Fire, Battery, Damage Inc. and Dyers Eve.

  • This was only the third performance of Fade to Black in 2009.
