  • This was the 12th time that Metallica performed in Montreal.  They first played Montreal on January 15, 1985.

  • They were last in Montreal for a two night stint on October 3 and 4, 2004.

  • This was the first time in 12 years that one of Lars’ favorite Metallica songs, The Shortest Straw, was played.  It was last performed on February 9, 1997 in Chicago, IL.  While the song is quite a rarity, it was the second time that it was performed in Montreal, last being played here on August 8, 1992.

  • This was the first time that Turn the Page was performed in Montreal.

  • This was the first time that Hit the Lights was performed in Montreal
