Notes

This was the first time in 19 years that Metallica headlined Lollapalooza.  The previously headlined Lolla in 1996 alongside Soundgarden, Rancid and the Ramones.

This was the first time in six years that Metallica performed in Chicago.  They last played here on January 27, 2009 during the World Magnetic tour.

Metallica first performed in Chicago on August 12, 1983 at the Metro.

"The Unforgiven" was performed in Chicago for the first time since 1992.

"Am I Evil?" was played in Chicago for the first time since 1998.  It was also the first time since Cape Town 2013 that the song was featured in a setlist.

"King Nothing" and "Whiskey in the Jar" were played in Chicago for the first time since 2000.

"Fuel," "Disposable Heroes" and "Fade to Black" were performed for the first time in Chicago since 2004.
