  • This was the first time in 11 years that Metallica performed in Albuquerque. The last time was on January 8, 1997 on the Poor Touring Me tour.

  • This was the 10th time that Metallica played in New Mexico. The first time was on the Kill ‘Em All for One tour on August 27, 1983 in Portales, NM at Eastern New Mexico S.U.

  • The last time Metallica played Albuquerque, there was a massive snow storm that prevented the opening act (Korn) from making the gig.

  • The last time Stone Cold Crazy was performed in the US was on November 22, 2004 in Salt Lake City, UT.

  • The first time that Blackened was performed in Albuquerque since December 2, 1988… also at Tingley Coliseum.
