Show Notes

  • This was the fifth time that Metallica performed in Sheffield.  The last time they were here was over 12 years ago on October 16, 1996 on the Poor Touring Me Tour.

  • The first time Metallica played Sheffield was on September 18, 1986 at City Hall.

  • This was the first time in over four years that The Wait was performed.  It was last performed on November 13, 2004 in Atlanta Georgia on the Madly in Anger With the World tour.

  • This was the first time that The Memory Remains was performed in Sheffield.

  • Battery has been performed at four out of the five shows that Metallica played in Sheffield.  The only time it wasn’t played was during the Poor Touring Me tour.
