  • This was the eighth time that Metallica performed in England this year.

  • This was the first time that the band played at Knebworth House, the iconic concert grounds that have hosted shows from the likes of Led Zeppelin to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Deep Purple.

  • This was the first time that Dyers Eve was performed in England.

  • This was the first time that Fade to Black was performed in England in 2009.  It was last performed here on July 8, 2007 at Wembley Stadium.

  • This was the ninth time that Fuel was performed in 2009 on the World Magnetic Tour.
