  • This was the 105th show on the World Magnetic Tour and the 79th performance in 2009.

  • This was the 16th time that Metallica played in the Toronto Area. They have also played an additional five gigs in neighboring cities Hamilton and London

  • This was the second of two nights here in Toronto.

  • This was the first time in 13 years that the electric version of Motorbreath was performed in Toronto. It was last played, electrically, on June 23, 1996 at The Phoenix. A barnstompin’ acoustic version was performed on July 3, 1998 during the Poor ReTouring Me Tour.

  • Die, Die My Darling was performed for the first time in 11 years in Toronto. It was last played here on November 17, 1998 during the Garage Barrage Tour.

  • Holier Than Thou was performed for the first time in Toronto. However, they did perform the song in neighboring city Hamilton on October 27, 2004.

  • This was the 13th performance of The Unforgiven in 2009.

  • Metallica performed 18 songs tonight from 6 different albums: Kill ‘Em All (2 songs), Ride the Lightning (1 song), Master of Puppets (1 song), ...And Justice for All (2 song), The Black Album (5 songs), Garage, Inc. (1 song), and Death Magnetic (6 songs)
